(Shaft trimmed to 7 1/2″ length on request.)
Weight range: 10-22 g/.35-.77 oz, depending on the wood.
Just the thing for luxury fibers like silk, silk blends, cotton and fine wools!
All our spindles are hand crafted in small batches by Jonathan and our inventory sometimes changes daily.
If you want a spindle right away, we suggest ordering a Standard Featherweight with a Birch shaft or one of our “Ready to Ship” combinations.
Special combinations of standard whorl wood and hardwood shaft, if available, may take up to 4 weeks for production and delivery.

NOTE: Jonathan turns every spindle personally, and special orders have to be fit into the regular production schedule. Therefore, it can take up to 2 weeks for a special combination to be turned and finished before it can be shipped.
